A guy who is down but not out takes an unexpected turn where every new beginning starts from old endings. Rene Reyes’ performance brings the audience a personal look inside one man’s strength, courage, and vision.
Originally from San Diego Texas, Rene Reyes came to Santa Fe over five years ago and has found a home here. After living in Los Angeles for 17 years as a professional composer, Santa Fe has offered up many opportunities not only in the music field, but, in acting and writing. Since living in Santa Fe, Rene has come out in five independent films, three television shows, and a theatrical play. He finally decided to write this semi-autobiographical movie about the events he’s had to endure in his life. Reyes has said, “Living in New Mexico has reconnected me with my roots and my spirit has been able to live like no other time in my life.”
After working as a portrait, wedding, commercial and art photographer for over 20 years, Craig Clark moved to Santa Fe in 2010 to build an energy efficient house. He has worked on a large variety of film productions over the last ten years. His positions in filmmaking have ranged from general cleanup to grip to stills photographer to editor to director—sometimes all on the same project. Craig thinks small projects are a great way to express creativity and have control but it is also nice to be on a huge set with major stars in a good paying union gig.
